A Look At Internet Pyramid Schemes

By: Gibson Maseko

Before you rush for the next work at home opportunity (like a pyramid scheme for example) that comes long, do consider a few issues. The confusion lies in differentiating between the true and the fake because there is no clear cut dividing line between the two.

There is not much mention of work or initial investment but it is all about how much money you will reap from time to time. The rule is you should never pay for getting a job online, instead you should be paid for completing the job for them.

On the surface it looks rather stupid to reject a free offer to join a pyramid scheme that promises riches so simple to achieve. It is in fact a nightmare because you have to sign up and then 'upgrade to a status member' by buying the product in question, whether you want it or not. After that, you are told you can make money from those under you, but only if they in turn buy the product as well - now the pyramid scheme is taking place.

Earning twenty dollars from a spending of sixty dollars is not so bad but to keep spending without earning anything in return is disastrous. Once trapped in the debacle known as a pyramid scheme you only have two sensible alternatives: you can slog on until the slippery climb gets too slippery or opt out before you get into more entanglements and deeper trouble and more loss of valuable time and money. There are companies that pay for work done on the Internet - you just have to know where to look and how to tell if they are legitimate. Once you have experience working on the internet, you will know automatically which company to trust and work for. Enter forums too to examine the reputation of different companies before you get involved working for them.

The recent proliferation of various pyramid schemes and money making ideas had been responsible in creating problems to many people. The structure of this type of scheme does allow early birds to make money but as more people participate, those at the base of the pyramid will be forced to carry the financial burden. The question and answer are simple: who has money to buy sixty dollars worth of product that you will never use to make a few dollars?

People who sign up to join one of these schemes are not made unaware at the outset that they will have to buy something to make money. Once you have enrolled, you will be harassed from time to time to spend more money on products should you want to start to make money. Well, in order to upgrade, you are going to have to buy that product and take a chance that someone else will feel the same way but in many cases, you are going to find out that you were the only one to do it.

After waiting to make money, you will give up and be out the for a product you never used. If people know that only the original product owners are reaping the benefits of every pyramid scheme, then it would be easier to find real work at home jobs on the internet. The need to investigate before signing up for any internet work at home jobs can be safely discounted, in the absence of pyramid scams.
