That's what they tell us don't they? All these ebooks and courses about internet marketing try to tell us that as an affiliate, making money is easy. So what's the truth here? Is it really so easy to make money online from affiliate marketing these days? Well, times have changed and so have the methods required, but it is still relatively easy for even a newbie to make an online income provided that they go about things the right way. As someone who has been teaching newcomers how to make money online for a number of years now, I can tell you that actually, making money online as an affiliate, (selling someone else's product for a commission), can actually be easy. But here's the kick... 'Easy' doesn't mean you won't have to do some work! Sadly, a lot of people expect that affiliate marketing is somehow something different than other methods of making money. It is, in fact different, if you compare it to having to work in a boring 9-5 job. Working from home and being your own boss can be hugely enjoyable when compared to working for someone else just to make them rich. However, working from home does mean working. You still have to put in the effort. Nothing in equals nothing out! Being your own boss should mean that you have the hardest boss you've ever had. You! That should certainly be the case, initially at least. If you want the rewards that affiliate marketing can bring, (perhaps even allowing you to quit your day job), then be prepared to work for that reward. The wonderful thing about affiliate marketing though, is that very often you can do the work once and get paid for that work over and over again on autopilot. It's called residual income and it's a wonderful thing to experience. Having put in the work to begin with, you really can experience the joy of waking up in the morning, checking your emails and finding that you have made more money whilst you've been asleep than many people make from working a full time job all week. So the truth is, as an affiliate making money can be easy, just make sure you find the right teacher and that you come in to it prepared to work hard initially (and a little less hard later on) and you'll do just fine.
