Guitar Hero: World Tour by Activision is said to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, GH3: Legends of Rock. This series has been able to give testament to just how big the market for musical games is out there. And with new features incorporated into Guitar Hero WT, Activision is set to create what could be the biggest music game release the industry has seen yet. The new instruments and addition of a music creator is probably something that most fans are looking forward to in Guitar Hero World Tour. If you have fantasies of becoming a rock star, this might be your chance to let it all out! Expect the guitar to be part of the set, after all it is Guitar Hero World Tour, but there is also drums and vocals that are introduced into the foray. For die-hard guitar fans, don't fret though because this particular instrument has had some tweaks done to make things more interesting. The guitar's neck is now equipped with a sensitive strip that can alter notes with just a touch of the strip. Meanwhile, you can easily access the buttons to change settings or switch to star power. Although Guitar Hero WT now have drums included in the set, it is not as noisy as you expect it to be. However, it works quite realistic and the sound varies according to the impact and speed of the hit. The incredible customization feature for Guitar Hero World Tour is a great way to let out your inner rock star. We all know that you have real-life rock stars as playable characters, but you do have the option to create your own. You can customize their physical features and personal style, or according to what type of image you want for your character. Meanwhile, you can also customize your instruments to give them a unique finish that would reflect your personality. An essential to any music game such as Guitar Hero World Tour is a good list of tracks. In this one, you can choose to play tracks from bands like Linkin Park, Sublime, Van Halen, or Foo Fighters. Meanwhile, adjustment options for both words and instruments make the gameplay even more interesting. Aside from this lineup and a few other upcoming downloadable songs, you can create your own song through the music creator. This is a great way to experiment in creating your own songs, submit it to GH tunes, and who knows somebody else might download your song. With up to five careers and non-linear difficulty progression, it allows you more control to enjoy Guitar Hero WT however you like. But for first-time gamers, the new beginner difficulty could certainly help you get started. Activision refuses to give out a specific price for this game but vows that it will remain competitive with other music titles there are.
