Secondly, you should make sure that you're ad is placed in a good area of the website that invites clicks. And lastly, make sure that there aren't too many banners on the page especially to competitors offers. Banner ads can be very profitable for your site, if you use a well thought out strategy towards placing them. Quality ads on quality sites, trumps tons of ads on questionable sites.
