According to experts, the oldest clothings that are worn by our ancestors are made out of furs and animal skins. This makes us warm and protected since us humans don't have furs. Our ancestors even use bones to sew together the materials and make it likely to fit. There had been evidence found in Russia that proves this. #Anthropologist from Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology named Ralf Kittler, Manfred Kayser and Mark Stoneking have conducted genetic analysis of human body lice that indicates that they originated 107,00 years ago. Since Humans aren't that hairy and rich with body hair, so these lices requires clothing to survive. So it shows the surprisingly recent date for the invention of clothing. The invention is related to the up coming of Homo Sapiens from the warm climate of Africa, that to be 50,000 to 100,000 years ago. However another group of researchers used the same genetic methods to the origin of the lice and they found out from the results that it has originated 540,000 years ago. Until now the date of the origin of clothing remains unknown. #In some human cultures like people in the Arctic Circle, made their clothes from entirely furs and skins and they also used tools to cut these materials to make it fit them and even decorating them. #Modern consumers take clothing for granted, making the fabric go into the clothing is not easy. A sign of this is the textile industry are the first one to be mechanized during the Industrial Revolution. Before the invention of powdered loom, textile production is very hard and tedious process. So the methods for making the most efficient use of textiles arises. #One approach simply involves draping the cloth. Many peoples wore, and still wear, garments consisting of rectangles of cloth wrapped to fit — for example, the dhoti for men and the saree for women in the Indian subcontinent, the Scottish kilt and the Javanese sarong. The clothes may simply be tied up, as is the case of the first two garments; or pins or belts hold the garments in place, as in the case of the latter two. The precious cloth remains uncut, and people of various sizes or the same person at different sizes can wear the garment. #Another approach involves cutting and sewing the cloth, but using every bit of the cloth rectangle in constructing the clothing. The tailor may cut triangular pieces from one corner of the cloth, and then add them elsewhere as gussets. Traditional European patterns for men's shirts and the women's chemises take this approach. #And up to present the different styles of clothing are still taking steps in changing and developing. An industry was even introduced within these factors. And that is the Fashion Industry. Different people in different culture now unite in Fashion in the ideal of expressing themselves through fashion. Wearing clothes does not mean entirely about function but also their appearance.
