It is interesting to see how each generation has it's own special toys that can define it. When he was a boy, my brother had two obsessions. He loved his Transformers toys and he loved the He-Man series. He had both of them in many versions, and he kept playing with both every day. It was hard for him to play by himself though, so I tried to play with him. I suspect that he didn't have much fun with me because I wasn't a huge fan of either one. I really didn't know what I was doing, and I didn't know a lot about the toys. But my brother really loved them and on a rainy day, he could easily spend hours playing with his toys by himself. It was a lot of fun for me to play with his Transformer Toys though. I liked to watch them change from one thing to the other. They were quite intriguing. These Transformers toys that he had were the ones that he saw on television every week. They were mainly trucks and cars that turned into other things, but there were all kinds of transformers you could buy. Some of those transformers toys were expensive, and he knew he couldn't have every single one of them that he wanted. A few years ago, I noticed that Transformers toys are making a comeback, but not at the level they were when my brother was crazy about them. I am not aware if they have a new animated film or not, but there must be some way that children are getting interested if the Transformers toys are making a comeback. The toy will soon follow a popular cartoon or movie. You are almost guaranteed success in merchandise if you can get a cartoon made that kids will love. If you look in your attic and find some of the older Transformers toys, you may want to get them out to give to your kids. They will love the older ones, but you may still have to buy some of the newer ones that are on the market if that is something they are into. If you don't have kids, you may be able to make some money by selling the old Transformers toys to persons who loved them as a child and are now collecting them. Some people strongly remember the toys they had when they were young, and they are looking to buy them somewhere and bring them back home for them of for their kids.
